The Cardinals are finalizing a bargain to add the right-handed veteran to their roster, FanRag Sports premier announced Thursday. According to the report, Holland going to sign a one-year contract worth $14 mn. Holland missed the entire 2016 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery & put on an impressive comeback performance during his lone season in Colorado. Holland, the previous Kansas City Royals closer who spent the 2017 season closing for the Colorado Rockies, is the final of the large name toll free agents on the market. Holland missed all of 2016 because of Tommy John surgery, & had a solid 2017 season by the Rockies, however wasn't the dominant pitcher he was from 2011-14 for the Royals.
