Nik Lentz has unlocked up about his withdrawal from Ultimate Fighting Championship 216. The lightweight fighter launched a statement late Friday night on his removal from Saturday's Ultimate Fighting Championship 216 in Las Vegas, Nev.Lentz, who is 27–eight–two & 1 no-contest in his Battling career, was scheduled to take on previous Bellator lightweight champion & ex-teammate going to Brooks in the FX preliminary part of the card. But, on Friday morning the Ultimate Fighting Championship reported which because of medicinal issues Lentz was forced off the card. Below is Lentz's statement:

Brooks bout had been slated for the Ultimate Fighting Championship 216 Prelims on FX. Ultimate Fighting Championship officials approved the reports, telling, "because of medicinal issues by Nik Lentz, his bout versus going to Brooks at Ultimate Fighting Championship 216 has been repealed."Later in the day, Lentz used his social networking outlets to give some insight into what the medicinal issue was which forced him off the card. according to Nik Lentz said his decision to go to the infirmary due to a health issue forced his withdrawal from tonight' Ultimate Fighting Championship 216 event. Lentz (27-eight-two MMA, eleven-five-one Ultimate Fighting Championship) was slated to battle lightweight going to Brooks (18-three MMA, one-two Ultimate Fighting Championship) on the FX-televised prelims of tonight's Ultimate Fighting Championship 216 pay-per-view event at T-cell Phone Arena in Las Vegas. But, When the early & formal weight-ins were underway, Ultimate Fighting Championship officials reported which "medicinal issues" had forced Lentz, who had formerlyfought at featherweight, off the card. On Friday Lentz posted a statement explaining his withdrawal (via Twitter):As he wrote:"I didn't make it to weight ins this morning because I was in the infirmary.
