Although it may well cost him money, Avery Williamson is wearing custom cleats to honor those who died on Sept. 11.The Tennessee Titans linebacker ran onto the field wearing the cleats, according to the Tennessean, even though he had been warned that he was risking a fine for violating the league's uniform code.The league is a stickler for uniformity, famously fining players for wearing pink last season to raise breast cancer awareness, and those rules extend to shoes.
