Career Brandon Bass
A 6'8", 250 lb power forward from LSU, Bass was selected by the Hornets in the 2nd round (33rd overall) of the 2005 NBA Draft. He originally declared for the draft after his freshman season in 2004 but ultimately withdrew his name and returned to college. In 2005, he again declared for the draft after his sophomore season at LSU, where he was named the 2005 SEC Player of the Year. Bass prepped at Capitol High School in Baton Rouge where he was one of the most sought-after recruits in the country his senior year.
